Quick In Website Usage Policies
Article 1: Acceptance of Policies By using the “Quick In” website, you agree that these policies constitute a binding agreement between you and the website, as well as between you and the host or guest, as applicable.
Article 2: Scope of Service “Quick In” provides short-term accommodation booking services (days or weeks only, with a maximum continuous stay of 30 days). The website may not be used for long-term rentals.
Article 3: Eligibility Users must be at least 18 years old and have full legal capacity in accordance with Egyptian civil law.
Article 4: Registration and Verification Host: Must provide a license and a copy of a national ID card or passport. Guest: Must provide a copy of a national ID card or passport.
Article 5: Contractual Relationship These policies constitute the general framework governing the relationship between all parties. Users acknowledge that a booking represents a temporary usage agreement for the unit between the host and the guest, in accordance with the applicable laws in Egypt.
Article 6: Payments and Fees The full booking amount must be paid through the website in Egyptian or foreign currency. The website commission fee will be deducted.
Article 7: Security Deposit The website may require a security deposit from the guest, which will be temporarily held to cover any potential damages. The deposit will be refunded after the stay if no damages are found.
Article 8: Cancellation Policies 100% refund of the booking amount if cancellation occurs at least 14 days before the arrival date. 50% refund if cancellation occurs at least 7 days before arrival. No refund for cancellations made less than 7 days before arrival. In the event the host cancels the booking: The host must refund 100% of the booking amount. The website may suspend or terminate the host’s account.
Article 9: Guest Rights and Obligations The guest has the right to receive a unit that matches the description and photos. The guest must not cause any damage to the unit. The guest must maintain quietness and respect neighbors. The guest must not use the unit for any illegal activities.
Article 10: Host Rights and Obligations The host has the right to receive the booking amount after deduction of fees. The host must provide a clean, safe unit that complies with the required standards. The host must not disturb the guest after handing over the unit.
Article 11: Safety and Incident Reporting Any incident or damage must be reported through the website within 24 hours. The website is committed to cooperating with security and judicial authorities in Egypt in cases of suspected illegal activity.
Article 12: Penalties and Sanctions The host may deduct the cost of damages from the security deposit after providing proof. The website may impose financial or administrative penalties, or suspend/delete accounts in cases of policy violations or misuse.
Article 13: Ratings and Reviews Both the guest and the host may review each other after the stay ends. The website reserves the right to remove any inappropriate or false reviews.
Article 14: Protection of Personal Data The website complies with the provisions of Personal Data Protection Law No. 151 of 2020, and users’ data will not be shared except in accordance with the law or by court order.
Article 15: Intellectual Property All intellectual property rights related to the website and its content are owned by “Quick In” and may not be used or copied without prior permission.
Article 16: Disclaimer of Liability The website acts as an electronic intermediary between the host and the guest and bears no direct or indirect responsibility for any disputes or damages resulting from the use of the unit.
Article 17: Force Majeure No party shall be held liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to circumstances beyond their control, such as natural disasters, government decisions, or emergencies.
Article 18: Amendments to Policies The website reserves the right to amend these policies at any time, provided users are notified 15 days before the amendments take effect.
Article 19: Governing Law and Jurisdiction These policies are governed by the laws applicable in Egypt, and the Economic Courts of Cairo shall have jurisdiction over any disputes.
